TORGYN Pendulum Squat V2 | Anatomy Fitness

$4,349.00

The Anatomy Fitness TORGYN Pendulum Squat V2 is a dedicated lower-body strength machine engineered to target the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes through a distinctive pendulum-style squat movement. Its guided motion is designed to mimic natural squat mechanics while providing a stable platform for progressive lower-body strength and muscle development. An adjustable foot plate allows users to modify their stance and training angle according to individual preferences, while supportive handles help maintain positioning throughout the exercise. Anatomy Fitness also designed the Pendulum Squat V2 to reduce stress on the lower back and minimize joint strain compared with less-supported squat variations.

Pendulum-Style Squat Movement

Experience a different approach to machine-based squat training with a pendulum-like movement designed around natural lower-body mechanics.

Movement benefits include:

  • Pendulum-style squat motion
  • Designed to mimic natural squat movement
  • Controlled lower-body exercise path
  • Focused leg and glute engagement
  • Stable machine-based squat training
  • Supports progressive lower-body development

Rather than following a purely vertical or linear path, the TORGYN Pendulum Squat V2 uses its distinctive pendulum motion to create a dedicated squat pattern for lower-body strength training.

Target the Quads, Hamstrings, and Glutes

Develop the major muscle groups responsible for lower-body strength, stability, and power.

Primary muscle groups include:

  • Quadriceps
  • Hamstrings
  • Glutes

Training benefits include:

  • Lower-body strength development
  • Leg muscle development
  • Glute development
  • Improved lower-body stability
  • Muscular definition
  • Functional movement development

Anatomy Fitness specifically identifies the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes as the primary muscle groups targeted by the Pendulum Squat V2.

Adjustable Foot Plate

Customize foot positioning to accommodate different stances, training preferences, and exercise angles.

Adjustable foot plate benefits include:

  • Multiple stance possibilities
  • Adjustable training position
  • Accommodates individual preferences
  • Supports different foot-placement strategies
  • Helps optimize user positioning
  • Expands lower-body training versatility

Anatomy Fitness specifically states that the adjustable foot plate accommodates different stances and angles, allowing users to personalize their exercise setup.

Supportive Training Handles

Maintain a secure upper-body connection to the machine throughout demanding squat repetitions.

Handle benefits include:

  • Provides additional user support
  • Helps maintain body positioning
  • Supports exercise stability
  • Complements the adjustable foot plate
  • Provides a consistent contact point throughout the movement

The supportive handles work with the foot plate and pendulum mechanism to create a more controlled training environment.

Designed for Optimal Body Alignment

Establish a more controlled squat position before loading the lower body.

Anatomy Fitness designed the combination of the adjustable foot plate and supportive handles to help promote appropriate body alignment and user comfort during the exercise.

This can be particularly valuable in facilities serving users with different:

  • Heights
  • Stance preferences
  • Training experience
  • Lower-body programming goals

The adjustable setup also gives coaches and trainers more flexibility when incorporating the machine into individualized strength programs.

Reduce Lower-Back Stress

Train the squat pattern within a supported machine configuration.

Anatomy Fitness states that the Pendulum Squat V2's design reduces stress on the lower back and minimizes joint strain while users perform the squat movement.

For lifters who want demanding lower-body resistance while using a more supported squat configuration, this provides another option alongside:

  • Hack squats
  • Leg presses
  • Belt squats
  • Smith machine squats
  • Traditional barbell squats

Build Lower-Body Strength and Stability

Use the Pendulum Squat V2 as part of a comprehensive lower-body strength program.

Regular training can support:

  • Stronger quadriceps
  • Hamstring development
  • Glute development
  • Improved lower-body strength
  • Greater lower-body stability
  • Increased muscle definition
  • Functional movement patterns

Anatomy Fitness specifically positions the machine as a tool for building robust, well-defined leg muscles while improving lower-body strength and supporting functional movement.

Pendulum Squat vs. Hack Squat

Both machines provide supported squat-pattern training, but the movement mechanics differ.

The TORGYN Pendulum Squat V2 uses a pendulum-like motion designed to mimic natural squat mechanics. Its adjustable foot plate also gives users flexibility to experiment with different stances and exercise angles.

A traditional hack squat generally moves through a more fixed linear or diagonal track.

Adding both machine types to a facility gives members more lower-body exercise variety and allows strength programs to incorporate different supported squat patterns.

Pendulum Squat vs. Linear Leg Press

The Pendulum Squat V2 also serves a different purpose from a conventional linear leg press.

A leg press primarily places the user in a supported pressing position and has the legs drive resistance away from the body.

The Pendulum Squat V2 instead creates a supported squat-oriented movement, making it a useful machine for facilities seeking to provide multiple compound lower-body movement patterns.

A comprehensive strength floor could therefore incorporate:

  • Pendulum Squat
  • Hack Squat
  • Linear Leg Press
  • Leg Extension
  • Leg Curl
  • Free-Weight Squat Stations

Together, these stations provide users with multiple approaches to lower-body strength and hypertrophy training.

Built for Serious Lower-Body Training

At 463.12 lbs / 210 kg, the TORGYN Pendulum Squat V2 is a substantial lower-body strength machine with a footprint suited to dedicated strength-training areas.

Ideal for:

  • Commercial gyms
  • Bodybuilding gyms
  • Fitness centers
  • Athletic performance facilities
  • Strength and conditioning centers
  • College and university fitness centers
  • Personal training studios
  • Corporate fitness facilities
  • Hotel and resort gyms
  • Premium home gyms

Its pendulum movement, adjustable foot plate, supportive handles, and dedicated lower-body design make it a valuable addition to facilities expanding their plate-loaded leg equipment.
